Dream Teachers is seeking an Executive Director who will serve as the “face and voice of Dream Teachers” as directed by the Board of Directors. This includes duties with respect to organizational, administrative, and fund development activities. A bachelor’s degree is required. Dream Teachers is a nonprofit organization led by a dynamic Board of Directors and supported by an Advisory Council of community activists, corporate leaders, and educators. As a team, we work with business, industry, and organizations throughout Louisiana to recognize and reward educators who model instructional excellence and dedication to serving the needs of children. We all share a common mission - to recognize and reward exceptional Louisiana educators. You are: • Highly organized and detail oriented • Highly effective in fund development and growing donor and volunteer bases • Willing to travel statewide to deliver the Dream Teachers’ message You will: • Plan, execute, and supervise an annual Fund Development Plan • Participate in speaking engagements to the business community • Serve as a liaison between the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Advisory Council and its working committees, Louisiana Department of Education and Event Manager Compensation: • Our current salary range is $60k-85k commensurate with experience.
