Title: Foundation Associate
Reports: Executive Director
Hours: 8am – 4:30pm
Summary of the Job:
Primary responsibilities are to develop, implement and evaluate a comprehensive program of Annual Support which includes but is not limited to individual giving and major gifts, stewardship of donors, third party events, employee campaign, direct mail, internal communications and coordination of employee volunteers. Secondary responsibilities include donor prospect research, grant and foundation research, gift processing back-up, social media back-up and updating internal and external web pages.
The ideal candidate would be proficient in Microsoft Office and Donor Management Software, demonstrate competency in customer service, public relations, budgeting and event and program planning. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently in a team-oriented environment is a must. Past experience coordinating volunteers preferred.
Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. Three plus years of experience in non-profit work.
